1. This is not the Pantera we're used to, friend of mine says this their 'Judas Priest' stage, right before they crafted the masterpiece Cowboys From Hell. Its still heavier than most of the Power Metal bands of the time, and if you listen closely, you can hear some signature Dime (RIP) mastery we'll hear on CFH a couple years later/5(63).

5. Feb 14,  · From my research, if the "MASTERED BY NIMBUS" is on the disc in two lines, rather than one, it is a fake. There is some particular seller on here, ebay, amazon, etc., that is from Greece and regularly sells this unofficial bootleg version of the album after they managed to find a way to (incorrectly) laser "MASTERED BY NIMBUS" on the back in two lines/5(6).

6. This was Pantera's final "Metal Magic" era album (and the only one from this period, to be officially released on Compact Disc). Afterwards, the band experienced Total Style Changeover, which resulted in dissolution of Metal Magic Records. Pantera's first (and only "Metal Magic" era) album to feature Phil Anselmo on vocals.

Although hidden away by the band and dismissed as fluffy hair metal by most, the four albums that came before Cowboys from Hell were far more along the lines of Judas Priest with a little Shout at the Devil-era Mötley Crüe tossed in.
